KVCD: What could make the video perfect?

Hey guys,

I have switched to x3 based on your advice, and it works wonderfully in my JVC.

My buddy's Panasonic is another deal altogether. He says the video is 'skewed.' He still watched it, because NOBODY can resist the power of Super Troopers. :D

What could make the video perfect and wonderful in mine and off-center and wonderful in his?

What model is it? My Panasonic CV-52 plays all KVCDs almost perfectly (sometimes can't seek backwards).

Heck, I don't know. It came in one of those 'home theatre in a box' packages from Circuit City. All I remember is it was frikkin heavy. Usually heavy is good. ;)

8) alright reno...

Burn a sample disc with different resolutions, and see which your buddy's player can handle... if it's not the resolution i'd recommend you test max and min. bitrate...
if it still doesn't work tell your friend to buy another player... probably not that of a heavy one i recommend...

He can also try encoding as MPEG-2

Reno 01-15-2003 05:25 PM
