Is TMPGEnc a WYSIWYG program??

What I mean is, does the preview screen in TMPGEnc actually reflect what you should see on your TV?

The aspect ratio is correct, but beyond that I'm not sure. My gut feeling is that it's a preview before encoding. The TMPGEnc FAQ addresses this question, and if you can make any sense whatsoever of the answer please let me know ;).

If you mean the encoding preview window, it is the output. Make a quick test: Encode something with CQ=0 and MAX bit rate to 100Kbps. What do you see
