KVCD quality isn't there?

i'm new to useing your templates. i've done the normal xsvcd formats but i just dont know what i'm doing with this form. it takes roughly 16min to convert 1 min of video, and quality isn't there.

i dont know if i'm doing something wrong. i've tried just loading in the template and not altering anything and i get the same results. are ya'll changeing settings around to get the conversion speed faster and better quality?

Seems to me 16 to 1 is a very long time!.
Unless you have something like a Pentium II or Celeron 466Mhz or something like that.

What processor do you have?

Something is wrong! I have a Pentium 4 @1.6Ghz and I compress a 2 hour movie in about 7 hours at 704x480.

Your compression time should be around 10-11 hours.

well i think i figured it out. i had the setting noise reduction checked. i unchecked it and it is now taking 16hr to convert a 180min movie. from my 1min test, the quality of it is also greatly improved.
