KVCD: Multiplexing Problem?

Yes guys i need your help.I am using the KVCDx3 Mpeg-1 Template.

I have a .m1v Video Stream,which has a size of 713 MB.

Then I have a .mp2 Audio Stream,which has a size of 77MB.

Now,713+77=790MB.

And that is where the problem starts.I used BBMpeg to Multiplex it.BBMpeg put out a MPeg File which has a size of 800MB,so 10MB had been added and I don't know why.

Then I used VCDEasy to convert it into a .bin Image. The output was a 813MB bin File. Now I cannot burn it onto a 700MB CD-R.

So,the process of Multiplexing and Authoring added 23MB of Data.

How is that possible and how can I prevent that???

Hi Bchteam,

813MB fits fine on a 80 minute 700MB CD-R. VideoCDs are burned in what's called MODE-2. The capacity is ~800MB, so that will burn just fine with VCDEasy or Nero. Make sure you select the "Overburn" option in both programs.

Then add the system stream:

(713 + 77) * (2048 / 2018) = 801mb

The VCD filesystem adds approximately 11-12mb.

You can't. You have to compensate for it :).
