Ok, so I just started using kvcds from friends and I don't know what player/codec/etc I need to play them. Does one of these links point me in the right direction?

kvcds are MPEG1 (internal to WinXP) or MPEG2. You just need a mpeg2 codec or a player including a mpeg2 codec (vlc, media player classic...).
