TMPGEnc: Big problem with TMPGenc 2.54 cut tool
 

I have a dvd-rip .mpg file about 1.35 gb and it has 6 episodes of a tv show. I want to cut this file but tmpg is showing the file as :38 sec long and no video

I'm first loading the file into VDub and previewing it to find out where I should break it in half-

then i load it into tmpg and it just says Edit Merge Item and there's no video- *also Windows Media Player won't play the file

this is driving me nuts!!
i need help with this really bad!

I just "simple-multiplexed" the file I was having problems with and now it works fine- so I think the problem was in my mpeg and not TMPGenc 2.54 :oops:

Now I know exactly what happened- I used the wrong audio stream when I encoded- I think I was working on my fourteenth beer :mrgreen:
