info about software DVDCopyOne?

anyone heard of a prog called DVDCopyOne?? I got a email about it, and apparently it can do a 1hr 24min movie from dvd to 3 svcd images in about 6hrs, I have just started the program and will let people know the outcome tomorrow.

I can't see this beating dvd2svcd for quality and functionality but being curious, as I am, I will give it a test as well.

At least it looks like it is there own product not a bunch of freeware bundled together like some other programs I have seen.

The quality is worse that the cheapest MPEG-1 encoder on the market

well finally finsihed, it took the program, 8hrs 50mins to read the dvd :?: :?: and 10mins to create the disc images. Just extracted the SVCD and watched the mpg and the vid quality is quite decent, just the sound is rather low.

Ah, SVCD, that's another story 8)
I was refering to the VCD quality. But still, the quality you got on 2 CDs will be lower than SKVCD on one CD, and TMPEG will encode faster than that too

it would be great if there was a program like this for kvcd/dvd and skvcd.

The closest to that is acp. But you still need to rip manually, unless you use DVD2SVCD.

I know its a shame about that part, pity you can't get to get together with dvd2svcd and put together a program that specificly does kvcd/dd and skvcd's.
