KVCD: I need help - video jumping?

Is there any way of stopping the video from jumping every now and then. I have a cyberhome adl528 dvd player but i knows its not that because video also jumps with powerdvd from hard drive also. I am encoding with normal, lbr and ulbr templates. I have tried increasing the minimum bit rate to 600 and setting the vbv buffer size to 0 but even though the jumping is not so bad, the file size is increased dramatically. I have tried muxing with tmpenc and bbmeg and still same results. Please can someone help as i am very impressed with quality and i am trying to stop from using 2 disk encodes.

I have this problem myself supersonic... Does this occur only after muxing for you too?

Have you tried encoding with the templates changed to MPEG-2 :?:

I'll try that kwag... I posted a sample of this skipping in the BBMPEG forum http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2799
read that and you'll know what the problem is. I'll give MPEG2 a shot now, but in the long run I wouldn't like to encode in MPEG2...
see if that link helps somehow with the solution for this problem...
