multiplex with tmpgenc
with bbmpeg we can specify the size of the disc which we use to burn the film (794 mb)...since i have probles with bbmpeg, my only way out is to use tmpgenc to multiplex...
1- what would be the best settings to use with tmpgenc??? 2- can i make one cd with tmpgenc using kvcdx3 & will nero let me burn only on one cd? 3- if so could we specify the size of the file in tmpgenc (i mean 794 mg like in bbmpeg)? 4- what version should we use for tmpgenc (2.58, 2.59 or 2.510)? sorry for all those questions, i speak french and sometimes it is hard for me to read & understand everything... please help me i am so desperate with bbmpeg... thx big |

You can use TMPEG to cut mpeg files, but I strongly discourage you to do that. The result is, most of the time, out of sync issues. TMPEG is very good demultiplexing, but not multiplexing. Also, you can't split by size on TMPEG as you can with BBMpeg. I still don't understand why you are having problems with BBMPEG :!: Do you have another machine where you can try it out :?: -kwag |
tmpgenc
no i do not have another machine...

are you muxing mpeg-1 or mpeg-2?
I think BBMpeg is better for mpeg-1, but I also had some problems with it muxing mpeg-2 (and TMPGENC gives a smaller size for mpeg-2 also). |
tmpgenc
i am muxing mepg-1...

..seems I'm finally having some luck with the templates using System(Video+Audio) I still fool around with the settings in Video arrange method, tryin to keep the correct aspect ratio. I suppose thats what the scripts are all about..its just that they keep "freezing" on me.
