VCD is skipping chapters in player?

I just recently tested the version 2 template for my philips 724 dvd player. When i i put it into the dvd player it starts of saying its on chapter one then when i skip to the next chapter, it says its on chapter 59. The movie stops at certain chapters before the end of the movie. Since the older mpeg 2 x3 templates work I was wondering if you could give me them, unless someone can help me fix this problem.

Hi ak47,

I believe something screwed up on VCDEasy ( I guess you use that to make chapters! ), and something went wrong on the "Chapter entry points". If you give it another try and it still doesn't work, go to the template you are using and check "Output bitstream for edit(Closed GOP)" under the GOP structure tab. Give it a shot

Thanx for the quick reply,

just one question does checking this "Output bitstream for edit(Closed GOP)" does anything to the file size, or changes the quality.
