do you have to use 'force film' if it looks ok?

Hi all

I have a movie in NTSC 29.970fps, frame type is 'progressive'. If i don't choose any field order in dvd2avi, and encode in tmpgenc without decomb filters the movie comes out ok on pc. So do you have to use 'force film' :?

Thanks.
