KVCD: using kvcdx3 with a cq value of 60?

after 3 weeks of testing and many problem encountered, i will have no cjhoice...i mean using kvcdx3 with a cq value of 60 because anything higher gives me a bug in bbmpeg (unable to write to output file)...

with 60 as value everything is working fine and what i like is that i can put a movie on only i cdr...i guess it is worth it even if i loose a bit of quality (because i can not encode with the real cq value)...

what do you think???

do you think i am losing 10, 20 , 30, or 40% in quality?

thx

well after many many tests, i think i will stick to the cq value of 60 since it is working fine (damn bbmpeg unable to write to output file)...if you pro's can not find a solution neither can i...thx for your great support...

kvcdx3 (528x480) with cq value of 60...i guess i have a better result than regular vcd???

could that resolve my bbmpeg proble if i use those programs to generate everything...swift avs & the automated program to process avi files & avs script or should i stick with what is working???

Hi big,

Have you tried using a higher CQ, and then just use TMPEG's built in tools to multiplex

yes i did try to use tmpenc and it seems to work...but is there a way to specify the size of the file to put on 1 cdr (in bbmpeg we can indicate 794 mo)??? wioth tmpenc my files are around 866 mo...
