KVCD: great quality for an hour then frames start jumping?

I've just finished Lord Of The Rings using KVCDx2 CQ60 which went on 3 CD's. I'm really impressed with the quality on the first CD (1 slight hiccup but I can live with that) but second CD is jumping all over the place part way through (CD plays fine on PC). I used Smartripper/dvd2avi 1.76/tmpgenc 2.58 and bpmpeg v1.24 and burned with nero (I miss out the Vcdeasy part as I'm not bothered about chapters - is this needed?). Any suggestions that I could try for better results - would increasing the CQ or min/max bitrate help. Incidently the player is a Pioneer dv350 which is compliant with all kvcd templates.

Re: Help - great quality for an hour then frames start jumpi

Somtimes I have tha same problem withi my DVD player Philips 633.

What I discover is that When I change CD I have to svich off the DVD player before to put inside a new CD.

I don't know if when you change from CD1 to CD2 you svich off the DVD player ? Try it

Other problem could be the speed you are using to burn the CD.

Try to burn always with the slowest speed (better is 4x) because some DVD player can't read very well CD that are burned at 12-16-24 x and so on
