KVCD: Sync Problem after Format Conversion?

Hi People.

I converted a 29fps Divx to a 25fps KVCD.Now the Audio is totally out of sync. But I did read, that I can slow down or speed up the Audio manually. But I don't know how.

Please tell me how to do that.

In my opinion, you shouldn't bother with framerate conversions, they cause a lot of hassle and most players are multiregional now. Was it actually 29 fps or 29.976 fps?

Anyway, you can use GoldWave to speed up or slow down audio. Open your file in GoldWave, press Effects, Time Warp and enter the exact time of the video file, then save, convert, and mux the video with the new sound file.

I already tried Goldwave but it was still out of sync.

I'm gonna try to convert with 29.976 fps.

But thanks anyway.

i had the same problem and pyro gave me the advice , not to care about the framerate and he´s right. nearly every dvd player is multiregional in our days, your pc is, anyway.

it´s too much effort to puzzle with NTSC to PAL

I tried 29,976 fps but my Standalone is not able to play it. So I have to go for 25 fps.

Can somebody tell me how to extend the length of the Audio stream, without loss of quality?
