Video stream smaller after encoding!
Itīs always the same, when i convert ntsc xvid file to kvcdx3 pal with ToK
After encoding the file, there are always 4 or 5 minutes "missing" , not at the end , not at the beginning, i canīt say where. and so after muxxing the whole file is asynch. i used format conversion with moviestacker, so the following line is in my script Code:
AssumeFPS(25.000, true) i donīt know, why this happens all the time  |
AssumeFPS(25.000, true) doesn't actually convert the framerate, it just changes the amount of frames displayed per second, so if the source is 23.976 fps (as XviDs usually are) then changing the framerate to 25 will speed up the film, so it will become a few minutes shorter. You can fix the sync problem with GoldWave, but my advice is don't do framerate conversions, take out that line from your script and encode in the source framerate..that is unless your DVD player is not multiregion.
