Read about the new feature for DivX at the link below called EKG. I sure hope an affordable MPEG encoding program comes out with this option in the future. This really makes DivX one of the most powerful affordable video codecs on the planet, when talking bitrate\quality control. Imagine the compression you can get while keeping the quality high.

Hmm, divx is just fine but why I'm thinking we are more interested here
how we can use our standalone dvd players more then divx compression.
Forgive me if I'm wrong.
