KVCD for VERY high action scenes?

Has anyone successfully backed up this DVD?? If so what kind of settings/template/script did you use?? It looks like I'm gonna have to use 4 CDs as even with 3 I can only reach a CQ of 45...

I'd really like to keep as high a quality as I can for this DVD....any ideas as to what kind of filters I should use? This DVD is really VERY VERY high action, with all the "fake noise", mosh pits, strobe lighting and rapid camera transitions. I would have liked to keep the animated menus too but it looks like I'll have to stick to static pictures, which I don't mind too much.

Anyway, what do you think?? Should I just go for 4 CDs? Or is there anything else I could try for a DVD like this?

Any live concerts I think would be impossible to put on one cd if the length is an hour and a half. Especially if there are a lot of blinking lights like you say. Plus all the jumping around going on in the mosh pits and on stage would just kill the quality. You could try something like this strong smoothing script that would decrease file size, but may make things too smooth.

mergeluma(blur(.05))
FaeryDust() or PixieDust()
