KVCD: Which template is best?
Hi,very new to all of this.I have been doing vcd's for awhile but just the regular templates with tempge.I have been reading and trying to understand this forum for a couple of weeks now and am starting to get a few things but boy its confusing if your computer stupid like myself.
Anyway the tempaltes look awsome(if i can only learn how to use eveything). My question is which is the best tempalte to get the best quality for roughly a 100 minute or less divx movie on 2 cds. Also when i have tried loading lets say a kvcd tempalte that is to fit lets say 180 minute movie onto 1 cd into tmpge it says the final size in the wizard will be 1400 mb,is this correct and how will that fit on 1cd. Please don't point me to guides or anything because i think i have read most of them already but still am kind of clueless :D |

PS thanx for helping me so much! ill do the same for others on this site when i get my stuf straight  |
Hi AmericanKickboxer,
I'm not an authority on divx/xvid stuff , but I do know that you should use the template whose resolution is the closest match to your original source. I couldn't say for sure whether you should use the x3 or 352x240Plus templates (someone else will chime in I'm sure). Of course, if you do a small sample with both and compare the results, then you really won't need anyone else's advice. Quote:

If you follow Black Prince's and Red-M's guides and use filesize prediction, you'll be impressing your friends in no time. Good luck. -d&c |
Thanx! :)
