Muxing KDVD

Hi there,
I am currently using Ulead DVD Workshop (DWS) to author my KDVDs. I mux the m2v and AC3 into a mpeg file, import it to DWS. Under the tap of "Program Stream Settings", in the middle of the screen, there is a place called "Timestamps", the default is "I frame", other selections are "All frames" and "I and P frames". What is the difference among all 3 selections?

I just encoded "Lord of the rings: the fellowship of the ring", I tried each of the 3 selections mentioned above, it plays perfectly in PC, but after I burnt it (by DWS in the way as described above) to DVD-R, it jerks whenever fading in or fading out (during the first 5 minutes, there are a lots of fade in/out). It just like the standalone player could not read through that particular second, I can press fast forward to "ram through" it. I also burnt it to another DVD-R, still jerks. Any idea please! This problem only happens in this movie, other movies are OK.

I think it has something to do with software you encoded with. Try changing the field order, this usually rid my encodes of jumpiness.

Hi digitalize,
It is a progressive material, a truely FILM DVD. Correct me if I am wrong, field order plays no part when encoding a FILM DVD. Thanks for the reply anyway. Any idea please!
