is cq value always the same with all templates?

i just want to know if the the cq value will be the same if we are using differents templates...example for 528 x 480 cq is 78...will it be the same value if i try to make a movie with the template 352 x 480 or should it be different since we can put more video in 352 x 480?

would it be better to increase the cq value even so if prediction says 78?

thx

mike

you can increase the cq value, if you lower the resolution

i just compared it with 130min movie, target: 1CD

528x576 : cq 61
352x576 : cq 70
352x288 : cq 80

all with max: 2500, min: 300 and the same script

but the kvcdx3 (528x575) resolution gave me the best result
as kwaq once said, it´s the "happy-medium-resolution"

btw: 528x576 cq 78 will give you an awesome result
