Ffdshow picture is not clear, video has noise

i hope the most of you have heard the horror stopries associated with certain movies downloaded form the net, that require this ffd show codec, i say this because i have one of the movies i would like to put on vcd, the picture is hardly ever clear and it looks like parts of the screen always drag, leaving the picture often unwatchable, y question to the board is how do i configure ffd show, to fix this problem, is there a guide that some one can point me too, holla back peeps

i hope this isn't the wrong forum

1 . Uninstall all codec packs u have installed
2. Uninstall ffDshow
3. Download and install DivX bundle 5.0.5 and Latest xVid
Your problem must be gone
