AVI to KVCD, but Aspect Ratio is wrong ?
 

I really need som help :D

I am using TMPGEnc and the KVCD-CQ-352x480-(NTSCFilm).mcf template.

No matter what i do the Aspect Ratio is wrong when i encode..

It works perfect with KVCDx3, but my DVD-player don't want to play these :(


which settings do i have to use to get the aspect ratio the same as the .AVI file.

It is both with Widescreen and fullscreen :(

Are you previewing on WMP :?: If you are, that's why the aspect looks wrong :!: Try playing on WinDVD, or burn it to a CD-R and try it on your standalone player.

I use PowerDVD to view the file. Also tried to burn it, but it creates black lines in top and buttom.


Can you tell me what settings i must use to get i to work?


The weird thing is that i is working with the KVCDx3 template, but i can't use it because of my player.

Try encoding with an .avs script created with MovieStacker, and encode your movie with ToK. This way, the aspect will come out correct.
