best way to convert DV Capture to KVCD?
 

Hey, im trying to get DV Captured Movies onto a KVCD. I compressed everything with DVSoft in Pinnacle Studio 8, and i was wondering if anyone had any steps of getting 75 to 100 minutes on a 80 min. CD-R. If you have any instructions, please tell me.

The problem with DV captures is that they are 29.97fps. So there's a lot of wasted space, as opposed to true FILM 24fps pictures. So you will fit on average about 20% less time on your target CDs :?

So what are the steps in doing it? I'm kind of a newbie to all of this.

You should be able to follow the AVI to KVCD guide made by Black Prince. That would be very similar, as you're processing a captured DV file. Check the link for the guide in the "KVCD Templates" area in the forum. The link is also acccesible from the main page at www.kvcd.net
