TMPGEnc: GOP for 352x240 video
 
What's a good GOP for the standard NTSC VCD template? How about CQ or CQ_VBR?

P.S. - Would change those setting negate the VCD compatability in anyway.. I guess it's possible huh?

Here's a very long but interesting thread, which explains just about everything you would want to know about GOPs and Quantization Matrixes. It's a VERY educational read that will answer all your questions ;)
