KVCD: Resolution problem - encode 409X288 instead of 384X288?

I altered a kvcd template to encode to 384X288 for little tv caps bits nothing special just for pc playback, but when I playback the m1v after encode the res is 409X288 I have opened the template in notepad and it has 384X288 for the res so anyone know why the template would encode 409X288 instead of 384X288??

EDIT: just done a run of another template (none kvcd) should of done it before posting. does the same with any template with 384X288 res.

With wich player do you read the m1v ?

I guess the res of your video is 384*288 but the player adapt the aspect ratio for whatever reason.

Doesn't powerdvd have the capability to turn off "Keep Aspect Ratio", and if would this help? Also doesn't it in the configuration options have the ability to set it to "play at original size".
