KVCD Audio Issues - audio is out of sync?
 

Hi all!

Yeterday I got "The Bondock Saints" (Der Blutige Pfad Gottes GER) on DVD and wanted to make a KVCD backup, as soon as I got it... this never happened to me before, but in the middle of the movie the audio somehow is out of sync...
I gave the DVD to a friend before I noticed that, audio issue, but I used the normal procedure, which I always use... (encode with headache, mux with BBMPEG)
so I was asking if anyone owns that movie and made a copy of it, and has had the same problems...

I own that DVD (NTSC).
I didn't have any problems when I converted it to KVCD.

hmmm might be the PAL version maybe...
This is weird, really! I just watched the whole movie (KVCD backup), and towards the end the sound gets in sync again... it might be something with the PAL version, or with the german audio track, which might in fact be out of sync itself :!:
would you agree when I say this DVD is pretty "dirty" ?

It's one of the best mastered DVDs made :!:
I actually bought it a long time ago, specially because of a review on the encoded quality. So I wanted to see what kind of encoding I would get with KVCD 8)
The DVD I have looks completely clean on my HDTV :!:

Hi,
I try exactly to convert the same movie,
and I think even the DVD looks a kind of dirty when I watch on my laptop!!
And it looks even worse when I converted it!!
I try american pie now, maybe I have mor success!!

that's so weird... plautzer, did you get that DVD in Germany? The DVD is definetely dirty!! :o
did you have any audio issues with the synch plautzer?

I got it in the US!!
And here the audio stream is pretty good!!
I got no problems with audio!!

I bought mine via Amazon.com almost a year ago. Maybe the new batches being produced are being poorly remastered :idea:
