Here are the results of using DVD2SVCd to encode a 2:24 clip from a dvd source using CCE 2.50 and changing only the Q factor.

Standard Bileinear resize. audio is 160k dual channel.

oh, i varied the "Q" setting for CCE 1-pass VBR andnoted the compressability. Each increase in the "Q" number increased compression.

and the quality for each "Q"?

i ask cos i never change adjusts in CCE, only use as default.
all news informations are great!

I find that a "Q" of 5 gives best quality (think CQ 90 TMPGenc)

A "Q" of 10 - 15 provide good results too, perhaps a bit more distortion in the picture but perfectly accepttable.
