TMPGEnc: CVD has wrong resolution?

I'm using the 1/2 kvcd template on Tmpgenc to write a cvd, but the finished file is never the proper 352x480 resolution.

I think the problem is my video source. I am using virtualdub to do the frameserving since I need to use the vobsub filter for the subtitle. The file I am serving with virtualdub is a dvd ripped by smart ripper then dvd2avi.

The file works fine when I only use virtualdub to make a divx, but when I use virtualdub to frameserve to tmpgenc it ends up with like strange resolutions. I do have the correct resolution set in tmpgenc to 352x480.

By the way, if I use a different source like the divx I made with virtualdub then tmpgenc works perfect and creates a 352x480 file.

Please help as I'd really like to make my first cvd. Thanks
