VirtualDub: Best Performance Settings?

Hi there,
I am using Virtual Dub Mod, should I select the default settings inside the performance tap or do I have to force some settings ON, such as MMX, SSE2... (I have P4--2.4G, 512MB DDR-333). So far as performance settings are concerned, is there any difference between Virtual Dub and Virtual Dub Mod? Thanks.

I'm almost sure that the default settings will auto detect your CPU.
