Program to Calculate CQ file size?
 
Is there a programm with whom I can calculate the CQ (and so on)

after inputting the max. length of a movie? (and the playtime?)

Short answer, no! CQ mode can't be calculated. But then you get the best quality :wink:

If you are converting divx just use the windows integrated calculator. Just encode 2% of the movie and divide the mb by 2 and multiply by 100. I have encoded my last 6 divx movies this way with my calculations being out by 5 - 20mb maximum. :D I havent tried it with dvd backups but if it works i will leave a post.
