KVCD: Audio out of sync?

i just encoded kpax - PAL dvd, i encoded with tok using 528x480 resolution, and set it to convert to ntsc 23.976 fps (my tv plays ntsc fine). i encoded the audio seperately using headache.

the audio is WAY off  , is it because i converted the video to ntsc :?:

Yep :!:, it sure is :)
Now you need to re-encode the audio, and adjust for the difference in frame rate. No need to re-encode your movie though :!:

You need to use some audio authoring program like GoldWave, etc. for that. I've read some posts here recommending programs to do that, but I've never had to do it so I don't remember the exact programs. Try to search the forum. You'll find the answer here somewhere :)

Edit: Check here: http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic....wave+framerate

i re-encoded the audio succesfully, but when i multiplexed the files in tmpgenc with the vcd header the file size went to about 1.1gb 8O :!:

i don't know what has happened, the .mp2 file is now 83mg, and my .m1v file is 738mg

i know this won't fit on a 80min cdr now, but the file size shouldn't be 1.1gb :!: should it :?: :?
