difference between remuxing to mpeg1 (automatic) or to SVCD with tmpgenc?
Is there something different between remuxing to mpeg1(automatic)
or to SVCD with tmpgenc? thx a lot :? |
Not sure the question makes sense... if you use MPEG1, you are going to get a stream for a VCD, not a SVCD. VCD = mpeg1, SVCD=mpeg2. So yes... there is a difference!

After making a kvcd with tempgenc you have to remux it to get less audio skip.
What´s the best remuxing system? :( :( :( :( |
Hmm... I usually don't have to do a seperate remuxing step. If TMPGEnc isn't working for you, you can try bbMPEG (I usually have more problems trying to use that though).

To get bbmpeg to mux mpeg1 as svcd, you have to set bbmpeg to SVCD and the uncheck "Add SVCD Scan Offsets" and "Align Sequence Headers". Also if you get alot of underflow errors while muxing, try turning the mux rate down to 0.
