hi

sorry, what i mean is that, i get an error on tmpenc, and no picture while it is encoding, i should get a picture shouldnt i?

For sure it's better to have a picture in order to encode a KVCD ;-)

What is the error TMPGEnc reports to you ?

At what CQ value do things start to deteriorate quailty wise, I guess im asking if a low CQ say 45 at 528x480 will still be better than a higher one at 352x480. Is one size better than the other regardless of CQ ?

sorry for the silly :?:

It's not silly, but there's no definite answer to your question...
It's like asking if a hamburger tastes better than a cheeseburger
Just make tests at both resolutions, and see which sample looks better to you.
