Thanks :!:
Maybe now I should add the following calculations:

Swimming Pool water capacity, PH factor, Acidity level, Rain drops measurements, lightning probability, Rainfall predictions :?: :?: :rotf:

I can't agree with that :!: The tool size is already 18 KB :!: Do you want to make it become a 20 KB monster ?

Just curious :D

Thanks bigggt,

No. I wish that too :D
I would have to scan the complete VOB (just like when you open a VOB in Vdub) to get the complete time code.
So that's a no no :)
You can, however, open AVI files. Both XviD, DivX and Huffy.

Kwag - how about IFO reading then? The timecodes are in there I think (?)

Yes, but they are also in the DVD box and printed in the DVD :!:
So it's just a matter of entering the minutes :D

It should give you the time of the selected title.
Unless the IFO is corrupt or something :!:
I tested it on a NTSC rip, and on a PAL DVD, and it gave me exact time.
There could still be errors on IFO reading using this version, because it's the first version that I implemented the feature.

bigggt 05-23-2004 09:02 PM

Ok thanx Karl

I don't know but maybe it is they way its ripped with DVD decrypter because the way i learned to do it(newbie way) dvd shrink will not open the ifo . :?:

I use IFO mode and not File mode

When doing that you ripp only the movie related IFO and not the VIDEO_TS.ifo needed by dvdshrink (or any other DVD ripper).

I don't know which one is needed for Kwag app.

bigggt 05-23-2004 09:09 PM

Thanx Phil,i am going to start using file mode as it seems everything is geared towards it :D

You can read the IFO's directly from a DVD, without the need to rip.
As long as you read the VTS_0X_X.IFO file. (Usually the VTS_01_0.IFO, the first title)
