How to resize 4:3 video to 16:9 correctly?
Hi all,
When capturing at 352x288 some captures are captured at 4:3 this is then very difficult to get on one CD. How do I resize the video to 16:9 correctly enabling a one CD conversion? My captures that are 16:9 with Black bars fit perfectly however 4:3 captures do not! Help! Dan. |
If you try to resize your captures so that they resemble the 16:9 captures. You'll end up with a stretch image horizontally, and a squashed image vertically. You can do it but the image will look very strange, with short fat people milling around in there. I have used the templates here for a while with 4:3 aspet ratio DVD rips and you can at a pinch get about 1hr 50 mins on a cd. The best thing to do is aim at about 1hr 30 mins per cd. That way you can have decent quality.
Hope this helps. |
