Hi Evangelion-01,
No, sorry, but you can't. Neither VCD or SVCD specifications supports AC3 audio. Only DVDs. Maybe on one of the new DVD players that supports RAW mpeg playback, you cound mux your KVCD encodes with AC3 audio, and it will play , but I haven't tested that yet :!: -kwag |
You can produce miniDVDs. So you can use kwag's technic and handle this with your AC3. But only some SAPs can play it ...

My most recent miniDVD (KDVD-full) was 99 minutes with a 92MEG 128kbs/MP2 on 2 CD's with CQ of 82.5. You can use this to get an idea of size requirements. Takes a couple CD's, but the 720x480 quality is hard to beat and Headac3he MP2 sound is very good. I normally use 2 CD's for up to 2 hours, so about an hour per CD with MP2 or 45 minutes or so with AC3 is doable.
