KVCD: Problems with max 1150kbps bitrate?

For some reason the new 352x288 and 352x240 templates work less well on my Finlux 510.

On some scene changes it leaves parts of the last scene in the picture of the new scene (for lack of a better description).

Do you see that behaviour if you play the mpeg in WinDVD ( or PowerDVD ) or even WMP?

It plays well in PowerDVD, BSPlayer and WMP ( I don't have the other programs).

The weird thing seems to be that it's not on the same scenes every time: I encounter the problem, rewind a bit and it doesn't happen on that same scene again. A few minutes later it happens on another scene, rewind and nothing...

I'm now wondering (and checking now) whether it might have something to do with my use of CD-RW's. It's no fun to rewatch the same film so soon again though 8)

On a more positive note: The Finlux 510 seems to accept the NTSC-at-PAL-resolution-trick to avoid jerkiness in NTSC encodings. If my girl friend's Sony accepts them too I'm very happy, because we watch a lot of films together and that's the minimum compatibility I need
