KVCD Optimal Scripts - Movie Stacker Presets

Hi Mauddib,
Great new interface on V2ß3! It makes things a LOT easier!

What is the best way to convert the "Latest Optimal Script" into something that Moviestacker can "load"?

Thanks

I would love to know how to do this also as when i copied and pasted the latest optimal script into MovieStacker it didnt save properly.

Is there a way to convert maybe?

Hi Zyphon,

You don't copy the optimal script into Moviestacker. You copy the optimal script to Notepad ( or some other ascii editor ), and you only use Moviestacker to get your resizing options, and copy those values to your script. Just fill in the values documented in the MA script, from the values Moviestacker gives you.
That is, if you plan on using the MA optimal script.
If you want to create a script from scratch, then you save the script created by Moviestacker.

You don't need MovieStacker to use the scripts.
Just use MovieStacker to open your source file, set your resizing options, etc, and copy&paste the relevant lines into your script in your favorite editor.

You do mean copy&paste resizing parameters FROM Moviestacker TO -> your notepad script, right :?:

Is there a difference :?: The end result would be a complete AVS file :?:

What Kwag wanted to say is that Moviestacker generated scripts for avs2.0x and there are so much differences with the parameters of the filters for avs2.5.3 that very often, the only lines that are usable are the line concerning the resizing and the borders.

For a lot of people, including me, MovieStacker became (just) a wonderful tool to determinate the crop/size/borders settings and nothing more.

I understand. I was using FITCD to generate an AVS file for TMPGEnc Pro. Worked well. But I am going to try avs2.5.3 with the Moviestacker sizing and the optimal scripts for DVD. :D
