1111 with success

everybody is doing tests with full movie
and i with small movie with 31minutes and 22seconds
 for 290mb size target with audio.

a few days i encode using:
 CQ63,20 and got 287mb final size with audio.

using the same script i got after 3 tests the same:
 CQ63,15....
means...just the same, perfect for my target!

:D

Great jorel :D

I've encoded four movies today (actually prediction only  ), and all have been on target CQ. Even the movie "The Siege", which had failed miserably with other versions
So far, I think this version closes in tighter on final CQ :)

Hi kwag, sorry I couldn't check in as promised a few days ago, but if you remember I was getting 30-50MB short encodes on my Hybrid material..(70% film converted to 23.97fps with telecide and decimate.)

Well with version 1.11 my last 2 encodes have been within .5% of target on the short side. :D

Good stuff just wanted to let you know :drunkard:

It's my turn to report a success.

Last time I reported that with 1.1.07 I had an expected 750Mb video that turn out to a real encoded size of 702Mb.

This time, same source, same script, same TMPGENC project : CQMatic 1.1.11 gives to me a 735 Mb file. It near 2.5% : great ! :-)

Note: I did a PAL Divx. For the ones who ask if CQMatic can do other thing than NTSC and/or DVD...

Red Dragon(PAL) 124 mins @ 352x576 came out bang on the dot 800 megs, couldnt have hoped for better quality to be honest i got better than i thought. :P
