Welcome krisgpindel :D
No, there's no easy way. And as the title says: "Advanced Video Conversion", that's KVCD ;)
Take your time, don't rush it, and you'll get the hang of it in no time :D
Go to the main page at www.kvcd.net and look at some of the guides, specially the guide "KVCD from Scratch". Start there :!:

After pestering you people with a number of questions earlier on :bigooh: I managed to get DVD2SVCD working reliably with your posted matrices.ini and kvcd_lbr.ini and an adaptive filter script. And that works just fine given my essentially lazy attitude :D Since finding out that I can put raw mpegs (of almost any kind; haven't found any yet that don't work) on DVD-R), I've given up trying to figure out adaptive filtering with AVI > KVCD though.

I'm almost afarid to move out of 'the zone' now that everything is working so reliably.

Again, I have to thank you Kwag, for there is something very nice about being able to put a 180 minute DVD on a 700 meg CDR!
