Error previewing Video?

Hi there,

I try to convert an avi file but D2S doesn't let me.
I have downloaded the ini files from Avalon and couldn't get it to work properly.
Can anyone tell me what I did wrong and which ini file I can use best?
These are the settings:

You certainly missed some plugins. I think Avalon provides them all, so look for the package he provides with all needed dlls.

Note: you should open the file "C:\program files\DVD2SVCD\TEMP\preview.avs" in wmp or zoomplayer to see the complete error message).

Note2: your problem is not there but you should know that MA script isn't adapted to avi conversion !

I noticed that so I selected your Divx- filter but the folowing error showed up:

AVISource autodetect: couldn't open file
Error code: 32
(C:\Program Files\DVD2SVCD\TEMP\preview.avs, line 2)

this is the preview.avs:

That means that you probably don't have the correct codec for this video on your PC. I do mean CODEC, not directtshow filter.

Do you know wich codecs are used in this avi ?

Note: I moved the thread to the correct forum.

could u give me some directions where to look?
If I select Bicubic Resize, than there is no error. Only if I use the other filters I have this problem.

The problem can be the one you reported so !
Are you sure of the error you have ?

If avisource doesn't work with the other filters, it can't work with bicubic. That's very strange. The error should be on an other line.

Can you open the script directly in zoomplayer and check this point ?
