Is The audio in 22.05 Khz ?

TheDJ 09-04-2003 11:17 AM

Hi,

its 24Khz..

That is the problem. The only way here is to let D2s go until bbmpeg. You will have an error there because bbmpeg can't find the audio file.

Then you have to tranform the wav audio that is in 24 Khz to a valid 44.1 Khz one by using SSRC (with the help of besweetGui if you want). And after this convert the new wav file in mp2 (always with besweetGui or if you want with HeadAche).

Be carreful to give to the mp2 file the exact name that D2S use ("encoded_audio.mp2" I think).

Then restart D2S, go to misc tab, hit recover, and let D2S finish its job.

Hi & thanks for the reply.

All sounds good, but to be honest i am a bit lost.

The encoding only gets as far as besweet, and doesnt get to the bbmpeg stage, it just freezes and says not scaled properly.

Would it please be ok to give me a step by step procdure on how to fix it? If u dont have the time, i understand.

Hope you can help.

Thx

You means that the DOS window of besweet displays this error message and then doesn't close ?
If so, you just have to close this window yourself and normaly D2S should continue its job (it has no mean to know that besweet was closed by you and supposes it has finished its work).

Oh right, ok will give it a go....THX!

Ok, i got as far as tmpgenc, and error on screen saying;

"No function to createYV2"

Also, how do u transform the audio to 44.1khz using SSRC?

TheDJ 09-06-2003 10:25 AM

OK the video is only encoding now....so once this is done, i'm not sure on how to convert audio, then put them together again?

TheDJ 09-06-2003 10:59 AM

Oh no, TMPGEnc crashed during converting the video

i dont know wot else to do........I tried using TOK, and in video tab it says, could not compress frames?

Dialhot 09-06-2003 04:15 PM

Drop this video, it's a complete crap :-(

Note: for using SSRC, it's better to take help from BesweetGui. Do you have it ?
Just open the GUI, click on the "ssrc" button, fill the 3 entry with the path to ssrc.exe, the input wav and the output target name. Check the box 'Set sample Rate of Output to" and set the value to 44100. Then click on "wav to wav".

Hi Phil, thanks very much for your help, much appreciated.

Yes the Video seems to be encoded by an amateur, but my problems is, this is a rare video which i have been searching for and cant seem to find it anywhere else. But if all else fails, then i have no choice but to bin it or put it onto DVD-Mpeg2

Cheerz
