Bitrates: CQMatic Minor bug?

hi, in CQMatic if I enter the avg. bitrate but leave movie time blank then a message pops up saying "please check movie time and/or avg" - does it need the movie time?

thnaks

yes friendal,
the "time" is one parameter needed
to calculed the desired CQ.

Movie time must be at least "1".
Zero "0" or nothing, will give you an error.

and if we choose 1 minute or the wrong time,
we don't got an error too :?:
...the CQ or target will be wrong?!?!?!

If you choose a different time that is not the actual video time, CQ calculations will be off :!:

this is what i was thinking!

hey friendal,
why don't use the movie time ??
:?
is really important for prediction and i'm having doubts with the movie time here:

if i put the wrong time, i will got the wrong CQ and wrong target!

I wasn't sure if the movie time was necessary- just the avg bitrate. I put the movie time into CalcuMatic but that would be nice if it could pass that parameter over to CQMatic so I don't have to enter it twice :!:
