how to convert Xvid to VCD or SVCD?

I'm new to K(S)VCD / KDVD and Im hoping to get a little help to get started :)

I want to convert an XviD avi with the following info:

http://www.digitalfaq.com/archives/error.gif

It's a DVD-rip, and I wish to fit it on 1cd. I've tried some of the tutorials here, but when it comes to AVIsynth scripts, they arent very clear. no dll files, or no LoadPlugin() lines.

can someone point me to a clear tutorial? preferably somthing that doesnt use ToK or moviestacker, and includes a list of AVIsynth plugins used :P (demanding eh? :P)

also... what are the possible outputs? VCD or SVCD?

i hope someone can help me :)

thanks in advance :)

without meaning anything negative (it's only the thread's title), you should read this guide: http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5769
