Use Gop 15,24 or 25 with Pal KDVD?

Hello
I'm using Tmpgenc and want to know if Gop size of 15 is vital for KDVD or will a Gop size of 24 or 25 work so i get more compression?

If it does will it work in a majority of dvd players?

Yes i know 15 already works i want to know if by changing the gop of 15 in the kvcd template to 24 will it still work on a KDVD.

It will work on some players, but it's not 100% DVD compliant.
If you stick with 15/18, then KDVD is 100% DVD compliant.
