file too big? my first ksvcd

i am currently encoding my divx into ksvcd with tmpgenc (using weethet guide) and it tells me that the file will be approximately 1200 mb big, is that possible?

divx is 25.000 fps with ac3 which i transformed into .wav with headac3
i used the 352x576 template and the 352x576 video resolution.
I have a pioneer dv-525

is everything done correctly?

if it doesnt worl i'll stick with svcd

You converted your ac3 file to .wav? Yes it is possible that the file comes too big!
Convert the ac3 to mp2, what kind of a script are you using, did you do file size prediction?
