How to make video more bright without losing quality?

Hi,

I made Lion King from DVD. The KVCD movie has a good image, but compared with the original it is a little dark. Is there a way to make it a little more bright (without loosing quality)?
I notice in DVD2AVI I can change the Filter Luminance. Anyone has some idea of the best values I can apply there?

Thanks

Hi ratuna,

I had a movie too that was a little to dark, and I used ColorYUV() with nice results. Like this:

Quote:

colorYUV(gamma_y=192, gamma_u=256, gamma_v=256, off_y=-16)
Just adjust the gamma_y parameter (lower value = brighter).
