Problems with DVD2KVCD plugin and side borders

Hi i recently started using the DVD2KVCD plugin for DVD2SVCD.

I noticed that when it encodes in TMPGEncoder it adds small borders to the sides.

Now even when i use ToK to convert i see the small black bars along both sides in TMPGEncoder.

Why is this happening and how can i get rid of them?

The final result looks to weird on my TV it looks like its in a small box frame or something.

Thanks in advance.

These bars are the result of "overscan=1" inserted in the gripcrop line of the script used by DVD2SVCD. We always do that. Don't you ever use a script before ?

What is not normal is to have this looking weird on you TV. NBormally they should'nt even appear.

Thanks for the info Dialhot.

Yes i have used that script before maybe i just didnt notice them before or wasnt paying attention to them.

Forgive my second statement i was in error i didnt actually watch it on my TV i meant to say when i viewed it full screen on my pc monitor.

Sorry for the confusion i will try it on my TV now.

Thanks again Dialhot for your help. :)
