TMPGEnc: Comparison TMPGEnc vs CCE vs MainConcept

I have set up a test with some samples from TMPGEnc, CCE and Mainconcept Encoder. I've uploaded them to a website so you can decide yourself which one you like best.
Code:

Presets: Mpeg2, Bitrate with average bitrate @1000, min bitrate 300, max bitrate 5000, "Notch Matrix" KDVD, filesize: ~2420KB

CCE SP 2.67.00.11

Mainconcept 1.04.00.03 BTW: Mainconcept skipped frames. God knows why.

TMPGEnc 2.521.58.169

Source File: Mpeg2 704x576, 6971KB

My personal opinion:
TMPGEnc CQ mode is best, followed by CQ and VBR mode of CCE. This is only the case with a bitrate near 1000, over a value of 2000 CCE and Mainconcept will be better.
Just my 2 cents.

Sorry for a late post I should have seen this earlier. But I did some tests with MCE vs. TMPGEnc on mpeg-2 and the results with MCE looked better in my eyes. But for mpeg-1 that's another story (MCE is close but loses). When using MCE use the method I posted here http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6983 . It will fix the frame skip issue and boost the quality. I'd be great full for more opinions with my method :) .
