the encoded video file only shows a black screen?
Allright folks, get back on your seats.
I'm talking about the trailer for the second LOTR movie. It's in .mov format and plays in a frame (in a bigger picture). I can open the movie with TMPGEnc without any problems, and I can see the movie in clip frame settings etc. Problem is: the encoded file only shows a black screen. 8O I will waste some effort on this, but if anybody has got any hints on how to solve that problem I'd be grateful. Some details: - the movie stream itself is 24fps, but the whole frame runs at 60fps (at least TMPGEnc says so) - there are quite a lot of settings in the QuickTime player. Looks like the .mov file is actually composed of several streams. - my TV-Out only shows the actual trailer, no frame. Everyone is invited. Thanks, b00n. |
Load your .mov first. THEN load your template. Then encode.
In that order. Don't load your source after you load the template. -kwag |
Ah. You are referring to the 60fps, right?
I did set the fps down to 23,x again after loading the source .mov. That was not the problem. Thanks anyways, b00n |

ConvertToYUY2() After the line that loads the source. -kwag |
Uhmm...
How do I open a .mov file with AviSynth ? DirectShowSource didn't work. Seems a filter is missing... |

Problem solved.
I activated DirectShowFilter in TMPGEnc in addition to Quicktime Reader and it worked. This totally eludes me, but well... |
